Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ClipSync ("the Service"), a video publishing tool that integrates with TikTok through the TikTok Content Posting API. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
ClipSync allows authorized users to upload and publish video content to their TikTok accounts using TikTok's official APIs, including Login Kit and the Content Posting API. The Service operates on behalf of users who have explicitly granted access through TikTok's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow.
2. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- hold a valid TikTok account in good standing,
- have the legal authority to grant the Service access to that account,
- comply with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
3. Account Authorization
Access to your TikTok account is granted exclusively through TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 Login Kit. You authorize the Service to act on your behalf only for the actions you explicitly initiate — namely uploading video content to your profile or draft folder. You may revoke this authorization at any time through your TikTok account settings.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:
- upload content that violates TikTok's Community Guidelines or any applicable law,
- use the Service to access or interact with TikTok accounts you do not own or are not authorized to manage,
- attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the Service or TikTok's APIs,
- use the Service for any automated or bulk publishing activity that violates TikTok's platform policies.
5. Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all video content you upload through the Service. The Service does not review, moderate, or take responsibility for user-submitted content. By uploading content, you represent that you hold all necessary rights to that content and that it complies with TikTok's policies.
6. Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that content will be posted successfully at all times. TikTok API availability and rate limits may affect Service functionality.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ClipSync and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to failed uploads, account suspensions, or loss of content.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, including for breach of these Terms, misuse of TikTok APIs, or technical necessity. You may discontinue use at any time by revoking TikTok authorization in your TikTok account settings.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date above will be updated accordingly.
